Front Suspension, Steering and Brakes

I've assembled the suspension using PST's Polygraphite Bushings and all new Grade 8 hardware. I also purchased the complete steering kit from PST. Also you can see the new KYB gas shocks. The coil springs are standard height Big Block springs I got from National Parts Depot. To help with cornering, I also purchased some mammoth 1 3/8" anti-sway bars from Malibu Performance in California.

Updated on January 2001

To take advantage of newer technologies in braking, I chose to use Baer Brakes 13" front disc brake assemblies. Since I will also be using the Global West Negative Roll suspension, I ordered the brake assembles on B-Body spindles. In addition to the tubular upper arms, I've replaced the lower stock arms with tubular pieces made my Fat-Man Fabrications. All control arms are using Global West's Del-Alum bushings. Also I chose Global West springs and Koni adjustable shocks to finish the combo. In the last photo of this set, I plumbed the remote steering reservoir using lines and fittings from a local hydraulic parts supplier.
